What is Script Club NYC?

Script Club NYC is an artist collective of actors, writers, and directors. Our initiative is to create a community of artists, and to work together to develop our creative skills. We offer informal weekly play readings, feedback sessions, and four full productions a year. We'd love to have you!

How can I get involved?

Join us on Wednesdays at Roots Cafe (639 5th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215), where we gather each week to participate in readings of both new and classic stage plays. Newcomers always welcome, no RSVP necessary. Readings begin at 7:30 PM.

We'd also love to have you join our Discord, and attend our full productions. Check our Instagram for all upcoming events.

How can I audition for one of your productions?

We'll link to a Google Form on Instagram when we are open for auditions. Follow our page to be the first to know!

How can I submit my screenplay for an upcoming Wednesday?

Join our Discord, and submit via the Screenplay Submissions channel.

What shows are you performing this year?
